DropTray is a macOS utility app that helps you manage files by providing quick-access trays on your screen. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

The DropTray Mac app does not upload your files or activity. File processing happens on your device. The website separately processes the account and payment information described below. In the Mac app:

• We do not upload the files you drag or drop.
• We do not record the names or contents of those files.
• We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports.
• The Mac app does not use advertising trackers.

If you create an account on droptray.app, we store your email address, account identifier, license and download history, and trial or purchase status. Stripe processes card and payment information; DropTray does not store full card details. We use this information to provide your account, license, downloads, billing, and support. You can request deletion by emailing us.

The DropTray website uses Neon for account authentication and database hosting, Stripe for payment processing, and Vercel for website hosting and basic analytics. These providers may process account, payment, device, and standard web request information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

We keep account, license, billing-status, and download records while they are needed to provide DropTray, meet legal obligations, prevent trial abuse, and resolve support issues. You may request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.

DropTray is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
